We offer same day scheduling and walk in appointments for on-the-job injuries. We offer x-rays, splinting, and laceration repair. Our providers are experienced and knowledgeable on recordable injuries and work restrictions and limitations. We provide the employer with a comprehensive work note that describes the injury in detail, and restrictions, a back-to-work plan, and any prescriptions that may have been given to the employee. The note will also include any follow-up appointments, as well as any referrals.

FACT: Quick medical intervention reassures the employee that the company feels that he/she is important to them. This also helps the employee to get back to full duty in a timely manner. We follow up weekly as long as the employee is placed on work restrictions. We make recommendations to accommodate the needs of the employee as well as the employer.

FACT: Drug testing ha become an important safety issue in the workplace for Human Resources and Safety professionals. A large percentage of Fortune 500 companies perform drug testing. The purpose is to lessen the impact from drug abuse in the workplace, including tardiness, absenteeism, turnover, attitude problems, theft, decreased productivity, crime and violence.

The US Department of Labor estimates that drug use in the workplace cost employers $75 to $100 billion dollars annually in lost time, all accidents on the job are related to drugs and/or alcohol, and substance abusers utilize 16 times as many health care benefits and are six times more likely to file for workers compensation than non-abusers.

We offer comprehensive physicals that can be tailored to fit your company’s needs. Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • Complete head-to-toe assessment
  • Audiometry
  • Vision screening, including color and depth perception testing
  • Urinalysis
  • Pulmonary Function Testing
  • Complete health history questionnaire (signed by prospective employee for accuracy)

FACT: Pre-employment services such as ours can help take the “guess work” out of the hiring process. Pre-employment testing can assist in determining whether certain applicants or employees are medically and physically able to perform their roles. When job applicants have the physical ability to perform essential functions of the job, employers benefit through improved work environments, increased productivity, and morale and a reduction of work-related injuries and employee absenteeism.

When  an existing injury or past injury is documented prior to employment, this allows the company to be aware of any pre-existing conditions. By doing this, the company does not inherit the medical costs of an exacerbation of a previous injury.
